Since 2005 I have had 'some' of my Model Funfair rides in my bedroom for the Christmas season. Since then it has improved with more and better models. Last year I created "Winter Wonderland" Also known as my Model Funfair, but to make it more wintery I decided to sprinkle fake snow over the layout and had a few Christmas themed model rides. And it looked smashing.
So this year I've decided to repeat "Winter Wonderland" in my bedroom but with more and better models. Here is a list of the models that will be on my layout on 1st until the 20th December.

After this, my Model Funfair is going back in the atic and I will proudly present once again..... FUN LAND! (some time in January)- it will stay in the atic until probably Summer 2009.

Wow, I thought I would never see this website again! (being as Blinkz has been offline) But now they've sorted it. Well done to Blinkz.com for getting back online.
In other news: I am uploading pictures from my Bonfire Night Model Funfair shortly, aswell as writing a "Model Attractions List" for Winter Wonderland, 2008, in my bedroom. Which as some of you know, starts on 1st of December. Great line-up of models this year too!
Also I will tell you shortly where my Model Funfair will be in thestart of 2009 until further notice!

Shane Blair,Presents his Model Funfair - Halloween - Freak Night!
Well folkes I have decided to do a Freak Night for Halloween this year. Last year saw some of my models in my room for a Halloween AND Bonfire night special. This year will just be for Halloween, but with better models. Models including, Booster, Big Ben Tower, Reverse Bungee and many more. Friday 31st October, in my room.

"The Summer Show 2008", is cancelled. This is because of the horrible rainy weather this summer, it's been crap!.. I'm trying to think of something for this month. More news soon.
In other news, The Great American Theme Park was in my bedroom last week. Haven't had time to upload pics, but will put them on soon.

Blackpool Comes To... Shane's Bedroom.
So to kick off the Summer in style, I have set up a "Blackpool Comes To" kind of "model" fair in my bedroom. From the 23rd to 30th June, a Giant Wheel, Miami, Dodgems and others will be open on "The Carpet".
Pictures to be online very soon, watch this space and you will be the first to see 1or 2 of my new models.

Update: 9th June 2008.
When I said my model funfair has ended, forget what I said. Because I am happily announcing that I am not stopping doing my model funfairs. However, as I've broken up most of the models that I had, it will be completely different. But I will have newer rides which will replace them.
Instead of the Summer Feast, look forward to seeing pictures of the "Summer Sizzler" this year which will happen in August. Keep watching this space for updates!
